Description
Drives truck / trailer over
established routes to pick up and/or deliver motorcycles or related products to
customers and suppliers by performing the following duties:

Duties and Responsibilities
1) Service Department Operations
• Drives truck/trailer to pick up
and deliver product such as motorcycles and related materials to both customer
and supplier locations.
• Records pickup
and delivery information.
• Loads and
unloads motorcycles and other product from truck and/or trailer.
• Issues or
obtains customer signature for pickup or delivery.
• Maintains
cleanliness of vehicle.
• Consistently
at work and on time.
• Follows instructions, responds
to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; completes tasks
on time and notifies appropriate person of unforeseen interruptions.
• Observes
safety procedures; observes traffic laws and regulations.
• Demonstrates
accuracy and thoroughness.
2) Customer Service
• Greet customers and vendors in
a courteous and friendly manner.
• Treats other
with respect.
• Maintain
cleanliness of work area and surrounding areas.
• Handle customer complaints
reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our
commitment to “Make Things Right”.

& Job Requirements
• Ability to follow both verbal and
written instructions.

• Current, valid
driver’s license with CDL endorsement.
• Must be able to safely operate
motor vehicle and accompanying loads in variable traffic and weather
conditions.
Physical
Demands
• Frequently required to bend,
stoop, crouch, and reach.
• Occasionally
requires the ability to lift 50 or more pounds of material.
• Frequently
requires the ability to balance and push up to a 1000 pound motorcycle.
• Frequently
requires the ability to remain in a seated position.
Working
Conditions
• The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate.
• Frequently
works near moving vehicles.
• Occasionally,
exposed to exhaust fumes or airborne other particles.
• Frequently
exposed to both inside and outside work environment.
